I worked with Richard for several months before my wedding. He was very creative and had great ideas about how to work with flowers and colors. The day of my wedding, the flowers were delivered to my home for inspection. They were wilted and falling apart; the white roses were tuning brown... it was awfully clear that they had been made several days ago and refrigerated. We had been charged extra for little touches like glitter that weren't even applied. I sent them back to him and asked that they be redone. I didn't see my flowers again until I got to the church. He replaced the white roses, added a sloppy splash of glitter, and that was it.

I ordered a very specific arrangement of all white lilies. Bauers substituted the flowers, using NO lilies, without calling me and giving me a chance to order something else or use another florist. Initially I was told that they would not honor their satisfaction guarantee, but the owner called a couple days later and said he was sorry about the staff not calling me to ok a change and then not offering the correct remedy. I don't mind problems nearly as much when a remedy is offered. The owner gave me a full refund.
